PyBanna is a small "joke" project of mine where I set out to make a functional Operating System in Python using the PyGame game engine.

The project is inspired from an old Scratch project of mine from back in high school, it was very simple (and very crappy) recreation of Windows XP.
It included some basic things like paint, Media player (that only played 1 song) and a few simple customisation options.

On rediscovery of the abandoned Scratch project I decided it could be fun to try remaking it but as a generic made up OS.
Chose PyGame as an engine as it is relatively simple yet allows for some fun and complex creations, felt perfect for this kind of project.

Currently the project is still in very early days and it currently consists of some basic functionality and base components, overtime however I hope to make it into the OS high school me was invisioning.
